Semester 3 - A Tajweed Journey

Enrollment into Semester 3 of the A Tajweed Journey course.

Course start date: Second week of January, 2024.

These 8 weeks will be dedicated to the nuances of Tajweed.

It includes:

• Understanding Nabr  النَّبْرْ

• Levels of Tafkheem مَرَاتِبُ التَّفْخِيم

• The Relationship Between Letters  المُتَماثِلَانْ- المُتَجَانِسَانْ - المُتَقَارِبَانْ- المُتَبَاعِدَانْ

• Stops & Symbols. ( الْوَقْفِ :( أَنْوَاعُهُ - رُمُوزُهُ

• Starts الإِبْتِدَاء - Sakt السَّكْتْ

• Feminine Taa Ta’neeth تَاءُ التَّأْنِيثِ المَفْتُوحَة والمَرْبُوطَة

• The Seven Alifs الأَلِفَاتُ السَّبْعَةْ 

• Imaalah ( الإمَالَة  - التَّقْلِيلْ)

• Special Words for Hafs ‘an ‘Asim

We are also working on helping you understand the different reading styles, speeds, individuals who contributed to the study of tajweed, and maqaamat.

You will review Semester 1 and 2 content during lessons and through various assessments.

A Tajweed Journey students will have FREE access to any Ramadan programs we organize, as well as our upcoming Arabic Calligraphy Quran event that is scheduled for Monday, January 22nd.

Only students who complete semester 3 will be eligible for our Ijaazah program.
